Series: Hope –A series of messages taken from 1 Peter that will encourage us to be filled with hope not only in this life but also in the life to come.
February 26th *Communion
Theme: We should cooperate with those in authority as far as our conscience allows.
March 4th *Prayer for Healing
Hope for our Families (1 Peter 3:1-7) - This message will encourage couples to walk boldly in their God given roles as husband and wife.
Theme: We can have hope for our families as w take on the role God has assigned us as spouse and parent.
March 11th
Hope for the Church (1 Peter 3:8-12; 4:7-11) – A message challenging Christians to love one another and serve one another in the local church family
Theme: The church truly can be the place that gives people a “taste” of what the Kingdom of God will be like.
March 18th
Hope for your Faith (1 Peter 3:13-4:6; 4:12-19) – This message will help people define, defend and find confidence in their Christian faith.
Theme: Even in an increasingly post-modern and post-Christian America we can have a faith that is attractive to people who are searching for truth and the meaning of this life and the life to come
March 25th *Communion
Hope for Leaders (1 Peter 5:1-10) – In a time when true leadership seems to be lacking in the major institutions of our society we can with God’s help be leaders who influence our culture for the plans and purposes of God
Theme: It’s time to take responsibility and lead
